Species: Spectacled Eider (Somateria fischeri)
  Narrative

6-20-10: After a long flight from Barrow, AK, Tully arrived at the ASLC. He was mildly dehydrated and underweight, and had a wound on his left wing.

6-23-10: Tully is not eating on his own, so he is being force fed small fish and bird pellets.

6-25-10: Today x-rays were taken on Tully's injured wing. He was found to have swelling at the joint due to a dislocation. Due to the severity of his injury, release is unlikely.

6-29-10: Tully has been eating small fish on his own for the past few days.

7-4-10: Tully's overall body condition has continued to improve since his admit at the ASLC.

7-13-10: Tully has been given a clean bill of health. Since his wing injury prevents his release, Tully will be placed in a facility where he can be well cared for.
