I received my PhD in microbiology from the University of California Davis, and joined the Alaska SeaLife Center as a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Tuula Hollmen’s Eider Laboratory in 2011. I became a Scientist at the Alaska SeaLife Center in 2015. My research interests include microbiology, immunology and cell biology. My projects are focused on infectious disease and immunology in marine animals and coastal ecosystem processes and bioindicators. I primarily employ biochemical and molecular methods in my research.
