Calling All Historians!
We need your help recreating the Alaska SeaLife Center Seward Celebration that took place Saturday, April 29, 1998! More than 3,000 people showed up for a sneak preview of the newly opened Center on this day.

This is an amazing time for our community as we near The SeaLife Center’s 10th anniversary. We will be looking back at all the amazing things that have happened and looking forward to the future.

It took a lot of work to open our doors and to keep moving forward over the last ten years, and we want to THANK the town of Seward by throwing a SeaLife Center 10th Anniversary Block Party May 3, 2008.

To make this happen I need your help. If you were here when the Center opened or know someone who was, I would love to hear all the great stories. For example, things you liked about the opening party and even things you didn’t like.

We want to make this an all-day event, starting at the Senior Center with a flapjack feed and followed by activities outside and throughout the SeaLife Center. Seward residents will get free admission into the Center on May 3rd.

Celebrate Your 10-Year Wedding Anniversary
Will you celebrate your 10th wedding anniversary in 2008? Why not celebrate with the Alaska SeaLife Center? It’s our 10th anniversary, too! Provide a copy of your marriage license or a newspaper announcement from your 1998 wedding, and receive a free, one-year Couples Membership. 

Has your twosome grown? We understand—we’ve added a few offspring ourselves!  Upgrade the offer to a Family Membership for just $45. Already a member?  The offer is good for renewals, as well.
