INDOOR MINIATURE GOLF TOURNAMENT

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Golf Fans,

With all the snow that has fallen this winter, it may be a long time before golfers can get back on the links.  But you can start your golf season before breakup, have a great time with friends and colleagues, and help Alaska’s marine wildlife by participating in the first ever Indoor Miniature Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 14th at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward!

The tourney is co-sponsored by the Seward Chamber of Commerce and the Alaska SeaLife Center, and all proceeds will benefit both the Seward Fish Enhancement Program and the SeaLife Center’s Wildlife Rescue Program.  The evening will feature a creative and challenging course that takes advantage of exhibits where you can golf with Woody the sea lion and other creatures looking on, and will wind through behind-the-scenes areas with a variety of interesting “terrain.”  Beer, wine, soda and snacks will be served, and all participants must be over age 21. 

We are currently signing up hole sponsors, taking registrations, and gathering prizes.  The cost for an individual golfer is $75, and you can register four players for $250.  Hole sponsorships are $175 each, with a special price of $400 for your company to sponsor a hole and register four golfers if we receive your form by March 28.  Please let us know if you can donate any golf-related prizes (especially items with your logo) since we will add to the evening’s festivities with contests in various categories.

The attached forms can be completed and mailed to Amy Haddow with checks payable to the Alaska SeaLife Center; PO Box 1329; Seward, AK 99664.  If you would prefer to pay by credit card or have us send you an invoice, you can fax forms to (907) 224-6385 or e-mail the information to amy_haddow@alaskasealife.org.  Please call (907) 224-6304 if you have any questions.  All sponsor payments are due by April 6.
