A premature pup

A premature harbor seal pup was observed alone on the beach throughout the night. Without mom, he has no chance of survival. The pup was brought to the Alaska SeaLife Center for rehabilitation.

April, 24th 2024

We knew the underdeveloped pup had an uphill battle. Today he took a turn for the worse, and the difficult decision was made to end his suffering with humane euthanasia.
